Pennant CrossFit Kindness Project: Day 1

Happiness is hard to define. It can mean something different to everyone. This week we are going to focus on how we can use small acts of kindness to create more joy and happiness into the world.
When we are happy life seems easier, more enjoyable, and we allow ourselves to be in the moment. What is the point of improving fitness if we are unable to leverage it into joy outside the gym?
This week, we’re asking you to perform small acts for others. The act of giving, no matter how big, is rewarding. It allows us to feel a sense of purpose and meaning and see the impact we have had on others. For those who receive the gift or act, we are able to provide a sense of appreciation and importance. In a world full of zero sum games, we have a net positive outcome.
Each day we will post a small act to perform. This act can be done anonymously. But we want to know how much ‘happy’ we are putting into the community. To see this, we ask that everyone participating change their Facebook profile picture to the Pennant CrossFit logo!
